The Knights of Columbus believes that every human life is sacred, from the moment of conception until natural death. Knights and their families are called to defend the dignity of each human being at every stage of life. The God-given right to life is inviolable, and the Knights’ commitment to it is unbreakable and unending.

Knights are called to witness to the moral evil and injustice of abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia and doctor-assisted suicide.
At the same time we must assist pregnant women in need, tend to vulnerable handicapped persons and care for the elderly. We carry out this crucial mission in unity with the Holy Father, our Catholic bishops and priests, and other pro-life supporters.
